This was a perfect quick lunch stop. The service was extremely friendly and the food was what you would expect for a fast casual restaurant like this, which is pretty damn good, but it’s not likely to be the best thing you’ve ever eaten. Chow main noodles were on the cold side and the mango chicken prob had been sitting for a minute but overall, it hit the spot. They have figured out the perfect slushy temp and consistency … 7-11 should take notes.

I had some expectations because of the great reviews, but I wasn’t quite happy with my overall experience. The food had a sour, bitter flavor that I didn’t love, but it was probably my choice of sides. It was also a bit cold and didn’t feel fresh However, the big turn down was that both my husband and I got their plate that’s like $13 and ended up paying $40 for our food somehow. It was just the 2 dishes, no extras, no drinks. So im guessing is one of those tricky deals with small clauses that we didn’t know. The place is cozy and the staff is friendly.

I had my first experience at Jack Rabbit Chinese Food, and I have to say—it definitely left a strong impression. Walking in, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, but I was immediately greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and a staff that seemed genuinely attentive. For a first-time visit, that kind of service goes a long way, and it set the tone for the rest of the experience. The menu had a solid variety of classic Chinese dishes, which I appreciated because it gave me a chance to try a little bit of everything. I decided to go with a combination plate so I could really get a feel for what they offer. The food came out surprisingly fast, and everything was fresh and hot, which is always a great sign. Flavor-wise, I was impressed. The fried rice was well-seasoned without being overwhelming, and it had that perfect balance of texture—not too dry, not too greasy. The orange chicken stood out the most to me. It had a nice crisp on the outside while still being tender on the inside, and the sauce had a great mix of sweetness and tanginess without being overly sugary like some places tend to do. Wow, jade rabbit exceeded my expectations by a lot. The food is packed with unique flavors. I got delivery and I felt the portion was generous. I’ll definitely be back again and again!

So nice to have a new neighborhood spot with good Chinese food, friendly service, and prices that won’t kill your wallet. The space is cute & simple, and all the food is clearly labeled vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free. The chow mein noodles are delish (and thankfully vegan!) and we enjoyed everything else we ordered, including the cucumbers, pickled cabbage, spicy broccoli and salmon. (Nice touch with the optional wonton crisps and side of spicy Jade sauce.) Portions are on point, too — I even had leftovers. The only thing missing? Vegan dessert options. But the natural slushies and homemade teas make up for it. Try the passion fruit tea that tastes more like juice than tea. So good!
